Welcome to The Blissful Pear! I am excited to join the community of homeschooling moms who are passionate about educating their children! Last year, a dear friend introduced me to a wonderful blog written by a homeschooling mom. At the time, we had decided to homeschool our children, but I was admittedly a bit apprehensive. So what a delight it was to uncover this wealth of information! And it has truly been more than just the sharing of ideas: It has given me that extra measure of confidence that I need to proceed down the road of home education.
We are still in the early years of teaching and training our little ones. And while I hear that the time spent with your children just gets sweeter as the years go by, I must admit that it is truly hard for me to believe! The hours of pretend play, the charm of mismatched outfits, the delight of little voices, the sweetness of tiny giggles, the outstretched arms and precious smiles that just cry for Mommy to hold them... how precious these years are! This season in life is so utterly delightful that I cannot help but offer thanksgiving to our heavenly Father for His many blessings.
